Peacock on the loose in Toronto neighbourhood, jumping from roof to roof

There’s drama happening in the Toronto neighbourhood of Roncaesvalles as a peacock that went on the lam from a zoo has been spotted.

The High Park Zoo peacock flew from the coop Wednesday and officials have been looking for him since.

The escapee is about four feet tall and weighs around 13 lbs.

Last seen this morning, he was jumping from roof-to-roof in the Roncesvalles area.

The bird has been spotted perching in trees and jumping in between roofs and has been captured so far on tweets but is eluding capture.
