While on patrol, police in Selma, California noticed something that didn’t seem quite right.
The turtle was walking down McCall Avenue.
At the time, animal control, was busy on other calls and the locating officer decided to foster the turtle until the owner was located.
Later in the week, the officer was advised of a missing turtle via Facebook.
After positively identifying the turtle, Dorie, was returned home without incident. is SPOA member Officer Yanni returning Dorie to her owner.
