Violinist really is the cat’s meow

Esther Abrami knows exactly how to soothe the savage beast.

Or, at least how to cool the jets of a mewing kitten.

“She cries whenever I leave her on the floor so here’s what I did!” London-based violist Abrami posted on social media.

It’s clearly music to the kitty’s ears.

Abrami also shared backstory about the kitten, named Rémila.

“This kitten was abandoned but thankfully rescued by the cat shelter l’Association Féli-Cité,” Abrami explained on Instagram.

She had been fostering the cat for a week when musical inspiration struck.

“When she arrived she was less than 400 grams, scared and had breathing issues from having stayed outside for several days,” Abrami continued. “I’m happy to say that after 7 days of milk bottles and constant cuddles Rémila has now become one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever seen.”

It’s little surprise she wants to be around when Abrami picks up her violin.

“She follows me absolutely everywhere around the house and refuses to be left alone on the floor. She is always either on my laps or in her little bag around my waist!”

This is also quite possibly the cutest way to use a fanny pack.

Oh, and Abrami has another message for people looking for new pets: Adopt, Don’t Shop.
