Kudos to the airlines who service Fort McMurray which has been under siege after wildfires forced tens of thousands of people to flee their homes.
WestJet, Air Canada and Canadian North have all permitted pets inside the cabin on emergency flights out of the fire zone.
Many homes and possession were lost. For people with pets, it’s a terrifying time.
But here’s a sight that made our hearts a little lighter.
