In case you missed this heart-warmer of an animal rescue, take a second look courtesy of GoPro’s video of the week. Back in December, a photo of a deer stranded for two days on a frozen Albert Lea Lake in Minnesota was posted on the Facebook page belonging to KAAL – ABC 6 News along with a plea for help. James Kenison, along with his dad, Douglas, and Medcity Hovercraft quickly jumped into action. The duo eventually brought three Bambis on ice safely to less slippery ground.
“All three deer ran off into the woods after a short break on the shore,” Kenison posted after the unusual rescue mission. Watch it here. Also, Hovercraft riding looks awesome.
