Pianist plays for rapt audience at Colombia zoo

A zoo in Colombia brought in some therapy for its animals, after enlisting a pianists to play classical music for its rapt audience.

Cali Zoo had pianist Mario Fernando Prado play some of the world’s most famous classical compositions last weekend.

Zoo officials said this new sensory experience is having a calming effect on animals as diverse as zebras, lions, and flamingos.

Fernando Prado welcomed the novel opportunity.

“I have played for many animals, but the two-legged kind,” he joked.
